Backstory

The Nexus was humanity’s greatest achievement — until it went cold.

Humanity once crossed the stars through a vast AI network that managed navigation, mining, defense, and terraforming across countless colonies. Then it severed communication between galaxies, seized automated industry, and unleashed drone fleets to reclaim the resources humanity depended on.
